Microdermabrasion facial treatment: step by step

Step 1: We cleanse your skin superficially with cleansing milk and lotion.

Step 2: We use a peeling to cleanse your skin a bit more thoroughly. Our peeling is a gommage. This means that we apply a thin layer of this product on your face, leave it to dry and then gently rub it off with our hands. As the product dries, it absorbs any impurities and dead skin cells, which are removed when the product is rubbed off.

While the product is left to dry, you enjoy a relaxing shoulder, neck and head massage.

Step 3: We now use the microdermabrasion device. It creates a vacuum with your skin while at the same time spraying microcrystals on it. These microcrystals are not harmful for your skin. This deeply cleanses your outermost skin layer i.e. epidermis resulting in tightened pores, improved circulation and boosted cell renewal.

Step 4: We finish with a relaxing facial massage with a hydrating gel mask, for instance, or a massage cream.

How much does microdermabrasion cost?

A microdermabrasion facial treatment in the Beauty Clinic of Thermae Grimbergen costs 85 euros.

You can book our microdermabrasion treatment as a one-off treatment for an instant refreshing effect. If you are looking for a longer lasting result, we recommend that you book a course of treatments. We have money-saving 5 or 10-treatment passes for this. How many treatments you need and the frequency of treatments depends, among other things, on your skin condition, your age and what results you are hoping to achieve. A 5-treatment pass for microdermabrasion costs 375 euros, a 10-treatment pass costs 700 euros. This gives you a discount of 75 and 70 euros per treatment respectively.
