A towel is a must-have during a sauna visit. Not only for your own comfort but also for hygiene reasons at our saunas. How do you use your towel correctly during a sauna day? We tell you all about it below!

These tips help you use your towel correctly in our thermal baths

  • Bring two towels for your sauna visit. One for use in the saunas, the other for just before you go home. That way, you have a clean, dry towel to dry yourself with before getting changed.
  • Sit and lie with your whole body on a towel. That includes your feet and head. This ensures that our saunas remain hygienic for everyone.
  • Don’t use your bathrobe as a towel. So, no, your bathrobe shouldn’t be in the sauna, not even to let it dry. Outside every sauna, there are pegs where you can hang up your bathrobe. You can also leave your spa slippers there. What’s more, you must wear a bathrobe in our restaurant and bar (including on the terrace).
  • In the steam bath, your towel is redundant. Because of the steam, it would get wet really quickly. Rinse off the stone benches with the specially dedicated water hoses before sitting down. But do take care not to spray the people around you.
  • During an Aufguss session, you should, of course, also sit on a towel.
  • Bring spa slippers, because you must wear them to walk around our thermal baths for health and safety reasons.
