What is included?
- - A whole day’s entry to our public baths. The wellness estate of Thermae Grimbergen is divided into a swimwear and a nude area. You have access to both areas, but you have to respect each area’s dress code, of course. There are eleven different saunas in total, as well as a wide range of wellness facilities like swimming pools, Jacuzzis, steam baths and a beautiful natural swimming lake.
- - A heavenly Body Relax Massage during which your back, legs and arms are massaged with gentle movements. Do you both want to enjoy your massage at the same time in the same cabin? Make sure to mention this when booking and we will try to accommodate you where possible.
- - Option to take part in our extensive wellness programme with various Aufguss, scrubbing and relaxation sessions that we organise for free for our sauna guests every day. The Aufguss sessions are held in one of our saunas and involve the Aufguss masters pouring water infused with essential oil on the stones and then using special towel flapping techniques to waft bursts of hot air over you. A unique experience. The scrubbing sessions take place in the steam bath. They are led by a sauna master who gives you a scrub product with which you do your own scrub. This could be a salt or chocolate scrub, for example, the surprise is half the fun. Finally, there are two relaxation sessions that will leave you feeling totally Zen, with a choice of a session with Tibetan singing bowls or a session in our salt room.
- - At Thermae Grimbergen, we offer you an extra wellness experience on Wednesdays! This is when our Zen master visits us to lead several Mindful Moments. And yes, you can take part in these for free too. Each and every one of these sessions teaches you new techniques to help you relax.
