One of these must-try walking routes is the Basilica to Basilica walk. It takes you through various woods and parks from the Basilica in Grimbergen to the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Vilvoorde, known locally as the Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-van-Troost Basilica or Troost Basilica for short. Be warned, in wet weather, it’s best to wear good waterproof walking shoes because you may come across quite a few muddy patches.
After this wonderful walk, why not rest your weary feet and enjoy some relaxing wellness? As our hotel guest, you get 50% off the normal admission price to our public baths after 5 PM. There are two separate areas, a swimwear and a nude area, where you can relax in several different saunas and wellness pools. Do also try one of our Aufguss sessions, because participation in the various daily sessions is free to our sauna guests.

Basilica to Basilica walk – 9km – starts at the Saint Servatius Basilica. Just follow the Basilica route signs. There is also a Basilica to Basilica cycling route, which is 22km long.
