From 3 to 10 May 2023, our wellness programme will be packed with revitalising Aufguss, scrubbing and relaxation sessions for seven whole days, with our sauna masters using various floral and spring scents.
Never taken part in an Aufguss session? You simply have to try it! It really is a unique experience. The Aufguss master, aka sauna master, pours water infused with essential oil on the hot stones and then flaps a towel. This raises the temperature in the sauna. The bursts of hot air wafting over you blow away the protective layer around your body and you start to sweat. After your Aufguss session, make sure to cool down properly: go for a walk in the garden, take a few deep breaths in and out, have a cold shower and only then should you go into the cold plunge pool. Don’t hop into another sauna straight after but do take the time to catch your breath and rest.
