Personalised facial treatments: face masks for your specific skin type

 

In both treatments, the beauty therapist checks your skin’s condition to decide what face mask and day cream to use. There are four different masks: a hydrating gel mask with vitamin C, a cleansing clay mask, a deep-cleansing charcoal mask and a rejuvenating mask with fruit acids.

Here’s the lowdown on the four options:

Hydrating gel mask with vitamin C

So you want well-hydrated, blemish-free skin with a radiant glow? This clarifying gel mask is just what you need! It is packed with vitamin C, an active ingredient that stimulates collagen and elastin production, which restores your skin’s firmness and suppleness. On top of this, it is a powerful antioxidant that protects your skin from UV damage caused by sun exposure or from air pollution, among other things.

This is the perfect mask if you have dull, grey skin and want to revive your complexion, if you suffer from hyperpigmentation and would like a more even complexion, or if you have more mature skin and are looking to restore your skin’s firmness or reduce the first signs of fine lines. But that’s not all, thanks to its nourishing ingredients, this mask gives your skin extra hydration with a cooling effect, refreshes it and makes it feel silky-smooth.

Cleansing clay mask

This mild but very effective clay mask is suitable for all skin types! The natural minerals in the clay help draw out impurities from your skin, making this a great mask to deeply cleanse your pores, resulting in fewer spots and blackheads in the long term. It also regulates sebum production so you will have shiny skin less often. And, it minimises enlarged pores, making your skin texture softer and more even. Deep-cleansing charcoal mask
