Winter poses unique challenges for your skin, from low humidity to extreme temperature differences outdoors and in. Your sebaceous glands are less active during the colder months, which can make your skin can feel dry, itchy, flaky, and dull.

 

Pampering and protecting your skin is crucial in winter. Slather on a deeply nourishing day and night cream to restore your skin’s natural barrier or add a hydrating serum to your daily beauty ritual.

 

Make sure to wash your face in the morning and the evening with a mild cleanser free from perfume and alcohol. To exfoliate your skin and reduce redness and flakiness, use a gentle scrub like our gommage, which removes dead skin cells and impurities. Apply this mild exfoliant to clean skin, allow to dry, then rinse with warm water. This product has a fine texture and contains lavender extract for added hydration.

 

Don't forget to protect your skin from the sun as well, especially if you're headed into the mountains! Finally, we recommend finishing with a good eye cream. In winter, the cold and wind tend to make us squint more, which could lead to fine lines.
