A day of sauna is not just wonderful in the winter, it’s a great experience in the summer too! This is the perfect time to learn to cool down properly because a dip in the cold plunge pool is a lot more appealing in the summer than in the winter. That said, we obviously think a good cooldown is a must, whatever the season.
During a wellness day, you shouldn’t just hop from one sauna into the next. You need to take a bit of a breather in between. There are plenty of opportunities to do so at Thermae Boetfort. Indoors, there are relaxation areas and loungers; and outdoors, on the various terraces and in the large garden, you can do some sunbathing with views of the castle, in swimwear or in the nude!
Don’t forget your sunscreen because it’s not a good idea to lie out in the sun unprotected. Forgot to bring yours? You can buy some at reception!
